I can believe that quite a few people had been watching! The kids evidently enjoyed the sequence of events (how much, I wonder?), but did they enjoy being soaked and cold afterwards?

I guess at their age I wouldn't have enjoyed doing what they were doing. I've never liked being cold - although clothes do help.
