In my teens, once I'd discovered how serious my wet clothed pleasures could be, I always tried to be careful - I knew that being found out would be a horrible experience. My mum washed my clothes untill my late teens. I often held back from creaming inside wet clothes (or opened my fly at the last moment to spurt out of it) so as not to leave "evidence" in case the clothes were found before I could secretly dry them. I didn't indulge again until I'd dealt with the last lot of wet clothes.
My caution semed justified when my mum found a pair of jeans I'd worn in the bath and had hidden away, waiting for an opportunity to wash and dry them unnoticed. I hadn't creamed inside them, they were just wet. I was very embarrassed and couldn't come up with an explanation - I didn't feel able to say I just enjoyed wearing clothes in water, trying not to imply any sexual motivation. After a long silence from me, my mum decided I'd been trying to shrink the jeans on, and she teased me for not saying so - then she spread this benignly inaccurate guess around the family! But we both knew that those jeans were pre-shrunk and had already been washed...
I recall my mum finding that my pyjamas were stiff at the front and maybe still sticky after I'd had a wet dream - she said nothing, just gave me an intense "look". I don't know what that was meant to achieve. She'd grown up in a large family with several younger brothers, sometimes having to look after them, so in their teens she must have encountered the occasional "starched" stain or stickiness, whether accidental or not.
Many years later, when I "came out" to my sister about my wet clothes interest (prompted by my excitement at discovering Felix's websites), she told me she'd wondered in our teens whether I was into wet clothes but she was never sure. She turned out to be accepting and supportive, very pleased that I'd felt able to open up to her and that I'd found the courage to sign up for adult swimming lessons (that's another story) - she said learning to swim would give me a lot more options! She seemed to assume that a male into wet clothes might ejaculate inside them every time - I had to explain that I didn't always, but it felt odd to be saying so!
