I'm not sure I've intentionally "settled on solo". My "clothed sex project" was a deliberate choice (initially as an experiment) 5 years ago, but "clothed sex" includes the idea of doing it with a partner. (Much the same as "heavy petting", but as an end in itself rather than as a substitute or as foreplay.) But I haven't been actively looking for anyone else...
