Another ? There's a guy from the UK that I got to know over the past 20 years thru work as he was over a lot and called on me and we attended conferences together - in fact I have a fond 'body surfing' memory with him in the waves off Florida during free time one year - the water was 'perfect in early fall and we rode the waves for a couple hours.
Anyway, he'd watch our 'Football' on TV while here and tell me that in the UK 'Football' is what we call either Rugby or Soccer, but mostly Soccer. So still trying as you say to get my head around things - let me know what your 'Football' shirts are referring to.
I had some nice silky 'nylon' soccer shorts that really felt nice and satisfying for showers and just had ordered some Umbro ones that are somewhere in the postal service (mess) still on the way to me.
I do have 2 pair of Nike poly knee length navy with white stripe shorts that are also very smooth and slick on the inside - so image that's same as your Nike trackies.
Let me know on your 'football' reference.
