Well spotted, mate. I've changed names just so friends don't recognise us - this one slipped through the net. I will have to be more careful in future.
You know what? I have an English A Level and I still don't know the difference between "PASSED" and "PAST" and the correct use of them. It is the one thing that I have never been able to get my head around. I am now fluent in French and can get by in both German and Italian but still have to think twice or thrice about "PAST" and "PASSED" ....
Your training as a proof reader stands you in good stead, so please correct me on any future mistakes and I might finally learn.
